As part of our commitment to your continued overall health, we provide material compatibility testing to ensure that you are not sensitive or allergic to any of the materials we use at our practice.

Our material compatibility tests consist of comprehensive blood testing to screen for individual systemic sensitivity to bio-materials through antibody detection. While we strive to utilize materials that are non-toxic and will enhance your oral and overall health, it is important to ensure that no problems will develop as a result of the materials used in your restorations or other treatments.

When you are tested for material compatibility, a blood sample is taken. This blood serum sample is then screened to analyze your unique antibody record. Your blood samples are screened against 89 different chemical groups and families, and the reaction to each is carefully measured and recorded. These individual reactions are then cross-referenced against the largest professionally maintained database of trade named bio-medical composite, alloys, and other materials available globally.
